Cara is a Registered Massage Therapist, Certified Craniosacral Therapist, Certified Yoga Instructor, BodyMind Coach, and Somatic Breathwork Practitioner.

I work with individuals who suffer with chronic pain and discomfort, people who struggle to sleep well, and those of you who want to explore what a somatic journey can look like for them. I believe that all of us have the capacity to heal ourselves and I love working with people who want to embrace their own wellness.

As the days shorten and the leaves start to fall, nature guides us in the art of surrender and letting go. This season’s yoga program draws inspiration from this transformative time of year. As the darkness deepens, we have the chance to confront our own shadows and turn them into opportunities for wellness. Throughout this journey, we will delve into themes of grounding, surrender, and liberation. Each week, we’ll work with a different yoga flow, breathwork, and contemplative practices designed to help you align your body, mind and spirit with the rhythms of nature.

Services

Craniosacral massage is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that focuses on assessing and enhancing the function of the craniosacral system, which includes the membranes ands cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. I use a light touch to release tension deep in the body, promoting a sense of relaxation and well being. This technique aims to improve the body's natural healing processes, alleviate pain, and reduce stress and tension by enhancing the flow of cerebrospinal fluid and balancing the central nervous system. This therapy is excellent for people with chronic pain, migraines, stress and tension related insomnia or anyone that wants deep relaxation

This session of craniosacral therapy with somatic breathwork involves gentle, hands-on techniques to release tension in the craniosacral system combined with guided breathing exercises. I will use light touch to enhance the flow of cerebrospinal fluid and balance the nervous system with craniosacral therapy and coach you to engage deep, mindful breathing to release stored physical and emotional stress. This integrated approach aims to promote deep relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being.
